We’re in search of an experienced and dependable Part-time Bookkeeper to join our client in Halifax, Nova Scotia . This is a permanent, part-time opportunity performing bookkeeping duties for an established company in the legal industry.

Key Responsibilities for the Job :

Accounts payable Accounts receivable Payroll processing Journal entries Bank reconciliations Month-end and year-end support Workflow and database management Other duties as required

Experience & Attributes for Success :

Post-secondary education in business or accounting at the college or university level Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar, full-cycle role Previous small business bookkeeping or office management experience is a considerable asset Motivated and ability to take initiative Ability to work within a fast-paced environment Exceptional organizational and time management skills Superior attention to detail Efficient in both an independent environment and as part of a team
