Responsibilities
Design develop document andmaintain automated tests and inhouse software utilities.
Adhere to established software engineering standard methodologiesand standards.
Conduct peer code reviews and mentorjunior associates.
Collaborate with other technical resources to :
- Suggest improvements for processes standardmethodologies and standards.
- Design anddevelop automated tests and / or software tools.
- Understand requirements.
- Findopportunities to improve maintainability of automationplatform.
- Understand and apply test drivendesign concepts to test and debug automated solutions and softwareutilities developed by self and others.
- Deliver accurate and maintainable code for testautomation and software utilities.
- Designdevelop document and execute manual tests when automated scriptsare not applicable.
- Collaborate with projectteam to understand and prioritize system testing efforts
- Mine and manipulate data to build test data for multipleor complex projects
- Define automatedregression tests for future projects and for ongoing regressionefforts
- Document and report on identifiedsystem testing issues in standard defect tracking tool
- Identify defects in multiple environments and throughoutall phases of the development life cycle and ensure thatdevelopment groups address all open defects in a timelymanner.
- Experience with Agile / Scrummethodology

- Java / J2EEUnix / Linux shell perl HTML JavaScript Spring WebServices
- Test Automation Experience usingbelow (at least 3)
- jUnit Selenium CucumberReadyAPI Rest Assured
- Experience with sourcecode version controlling using GIT
- Testautomation experience using JS frameworks such as Jasmine karmaprotractor is a plus
- Knowledge of equityoptions and fixed income trading is a plus
- Soft skills
- Solid technicalbackground of solving problems and identifying rootcause.

- B.S. Computer Science ComputerEngineering Electrical Engineering or similar technicalfield.
