Help teach adults with disabilities learn computer skills, internet safety and iPad use.
Responsibilities
This program offers participants the opportunity to learn new skills while having fun. Computer instruction is available in all areas including Computer Basics, Internet Basics, Computer Games, Email Basics, Word Processing, social media, Internet Safety, and other important topics. Participants are working either on desktop computers or iPad. Assistive technology is available for use as well. Each class is tailored to the student’s ability and advancement level. Participants are supported by volunteers who ensure each student benefits from the program. Each class also contains a social component when individuals share their work and successes. Students are encouraged to ask questions and bring their own ideas as to what they would like to do and learn during class.
