A Penske skilled and detail-oriented Mobile Tire Technician, you will be responsible for road side service, as well as in shop : mounting, balancing, rotating, and repairing tires on various vehicles.

Your primary goal will be to ensure the safety and optimal performance of our customers' vehicles by maintaining and servicing their tires.

Major Responsibilities :

• Mount and balance tires on a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and SUVs.
• Perform duties with little or no supervision in a timely and efficient manner
• Perform tire rotations to ensure even tread wear and maximize tire life.
• Inspect tires for damage, bulges, and other issues, recommending appropriate repairs or replacements.
• Diagnose tire-related issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Conduct tire repairs, including patching and plugging punctures, and address other tire-related problems efficiently.
• Utilize tire mounting and balancing equipment effectively and safely.
• Maintain and calibrate tools and equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results.
• Complete service orders and other necessary paperwork.

Qualifications :

• 2+ years practical experience with truck tire maintenance required
• Proficiency in the use of shop tools required
• Current driver's license class 5 and the ability to obtain class Air Brakes within 90 days of been hired
• Basic computer skills preferred for data entry into maintenance systems.
• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions required
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• Willingness to travel as necessary within the district (customers yards, close geographical area and training sites), work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a reference check.
