Job Description
The Oracle HCM Developer is responsible for designing, building, testing, and maintaining solutions within Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM. This role supports ongoing operations, enhancements, integrations, reporting, and issue resolution across Core HR, Recruiting / ORC, and other related HCM modules.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
Solution Design & Development
Design, configure, and extend Oracle HCM using tools such as HCM Extracts, Fast Formulas, BIP / OTBI reporting, HCM Data Loader (HDL), HSDL (Spreadsheet Loader) and HCM REST APIs.
Develop enhancements aligned with best practices—including Redwood UX transitions, Guided Processes, and configuration-driven changes.
Help build out embedded self‑service and AI solutions within Oracle HCM.
Operations & Support
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to data, integrations, security, workflows, and module configuration.
Perform impact assessments for quarterly updates and other Oracle Cloud patches.
Maintain documentation including functional / technical designs, test scripts, integration specifications, and configuration logs.
Reporting & Data Management
Build and optimize OTBI / BIP reports, dashboards, and analytics for HR and leadership.
Manage data loads, transformations, and validations using HDL and HSDL.
Ensure data quality, compliance, and audit readiness across all HCM modules.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
Partner with HR leaders, HRMS / IT teams, and business stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into technical solutions.
Support end‑to‑end project activities including requirements gathering, design, testing, deployment, and post‑go‑live support.
Participate in cross‑functional initiatives such as onboarding enhancements, integrations with other systems, process deployments or designs.
Knowledge & Skills
Required Qualifications
3+ years’ experience working with Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM and / or Oracle EBS in a technical or techno‑functional capacity.
Hands‑on experience with :
HCM Extracts
Fast Formulas
HDL & HSDL
BI Publisher (BIP) & OTBI
REST / SOAP APIs
Security Console (roles, privileges)
Transaction console
Strong SQL and PL / SQL skills; understanding of data models and HCM architecture.
Experience supporting full development lifecycle—analysis, design, build, test, deploy.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Core HR and Recruiting modules.
Familiarity with Redwood UX, Guided Processes and journeys.
Knowledge of some HR business processes (e.g. Core HR, Recruiting, Payroll, etc.).
Experience working in agile environments.
Previous consulting or enterprise‑scale implementation experience is an advantage.
Knowledge of Oracle Apex is an asset.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or equivalent subject.

This is a regular, full‑time position with a salary range of $80,000 - $95,000 per annum. The starting salary will be based on the successful candidate’s competencies, including but not limited to experience, education and performance related to this role.
