What are your contributions to the team?

• Structure the project and support the different departments in the implementation of project packages.
• Control project costs, manage risks and assess the team’s ability to meet deadlines.
• Report to management on the health of the project, preparation for acceleration and progress of mitigation plans.
• Coordinate a multifunctional team (Engineering, Methods, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Production, Quality, Tools) to establish the industrial strategy, production layout and build tomorrow's performance.
• Coordinate project review and executive governance with the leadership team.
• Synthesize and document project strategies and solutions.
• Make strategic recommendations to support the company’s objectives.
• Understand the technical parameters and performance indicators of your project results (ex. : cycle time, response time, capacity, etc.)

How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience :

• You hold a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, engineering, business administration.
• You have at least 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
• You have at least 2 years’ experience in project management or experience as a team supervisor.
• You have training and experience in Industrial Engineering and / or Continuous Improvement.
• You have a knack for simplifying information and are comfortable presenting to upper management.
• You are dynamic and work well in a team.
• You are a leader and are motivated by new challenges.
• You are patient, driven and curious.
• You are flexible in the face of changes in priorities and strategies that affect your project.
• You use MS Project and Excel
• You are bilingual (French and English spoken and written).
