Overview : We are seeking a dynamic and organized Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, the ability to plan effectively, and a talent for delegating duties.

With a focus on both office and yard responsibilities, the Warehouse Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency, safety, and overall success of our warehouse operations.

Responsibilities : Organize and Plan : Develop and implement effective warehouse organization strategies, ensuring optimal use of space and resources.

Plan and schedule daily warehouse activities, considering factors such as workload, priorities, and deadlines.Delegation : Delegate duties and responsibilities to warehouse staff, providing clear instructions and expectations.

Monitor task completion and address any issues that may arise during the process.Route Planning : Receive and review route plans for incoming and outgoing shipments.

Collaborate with logistics teams to plan efficient routes, stops, and appointments for unloading.Loading Diagrams : Create and maintain loading diagrams to optimize loading and unloading processes.

Ensure that products are loaded and unloaded in a manner that maximizes efficiency and minimizes the risk of damage.Forklift Certification : As a significant portion of the work involves office management, the Warehouse Manager should be certified to operate a forklift, as they may need to provide support in the yard when necessary.

Inventory Management : Take responsibility for maintaining accurate inventory records. Implement and oversee inventory control procedures to minimize discrepancies and ensure timely and accurate reporting.

Safety and Practices : Uphold and enforce safety standards and best practices in the warehouse. Conduct regular safety inspections and promote a culture of safety among warehouse staff.

Coaching and Mentoring : Provide coaching and mentorship to warehouse employees, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

Identify areas for improvement and recommend training programs as needed. Qualifications :

  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar role.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Excellent delegation and leadership abilities.
  • Knowledge of route planning and loading procedures.
  • Forklift certification.
  • Proficient in inventory management.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
