Credit Analyst

TheCredit Analyst is responsible for approving credit and securingrevenue payment verifying and posting receipts and resolvingdiscrepancies.

Our Client relies on Credit Analyst to make goodbusiness decisions that reflect an effective use of companyresources.

Responsibilities :

• Establish appropriate customer terms and creditlimits;
• Generatecustomer invoices according to terms ofsale;
• Monitorcustomers receivable accounts to ensure timely payment following upon delinquent accounts with customers and liaising with sales staffand management asappropriate;
• Processcustomer payments within one businessday;
• Investigateand resolve any invoicing queries requesting credit notes whenwarranted;
• Maintainaccurate and up to date accounts receivable files andrecords;
• Reconcileand analyze customer accounts preparing accounting reports(including bad debts analysis) as required and within specifiedtimelines;

and Liaisewith logistics and accounting staff with day to day and month endaccounting activities including supplier payments shipments andcustomerdeposits.

Supporta culture of continuous improvement by recommending andimplementing changes to company processes whereappropriate.

SalesSupport

• Processand register sales contracts in the appropriate jurisdiction withinspecifiedtimelines;
• Collaboratewith the Account Representative Service Coordinator or salesmanagement relaying operational issues preventingcollections;
• Communicatepayment receipt to release outbound shipments;and
• Preparingleasing quotes and coordinating contracts for customers withinspecifiedtimelines.

Requirements

• SecondarySchool diploma and some postsecondary education in accountingand / or credit management would be anasset.
• Aminimum of 5 years experience in credit and collections with asmall to medium sized company;
• Familiarwith ERP systems and intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Wordand Excel;
• Highlyorganized detailoriented with a high level of accuracy andthoroughness;
• Abilityto take initiative and be proactive with exceptional followupskills;
• Provenability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines for criticaltasks;
• Exhibitssound and accurate judgment;
• Abilityto deal with difficult individuals in a professional and diplomaticmanner;
• Motivatedand energetic with a positive attitude and a pleasant calmdemeanour; and
• Strongverbal and written communicationskills.

Use financial systems and standard officeapplications software effectively. Qualifications Bachelor s degreein accounting, finance or a related field.

Obtained a CPAdesignation A minimum of 5-10 years directly responsible businessexperience involving financial management, or an equivalentcombination of education.

Experience in NetSuite Experiencesufficient to perform the essential functions of the job asdetermined by company.
