  • university training, or its equivalent, relevant to the posted position; and,

Term, Immediately to April 30, 2025 Or return of the incumbent, whichever occurs first DISTRICT Thesuccessful candidate must : · possess aMaster’s degree in school / educational psychology or a related field with afocus on school psychology;
  • be eligible formembership in BCASP; and,· possess a validB.C. Driver’s license and reliable vehicle for travel between schools.
  • This position plays a supportive rolein the identification, assessment, planning, implementation, reporting andevaluation process and the School Psychologist will : · collaborativelyconsult with teachers, parents, students and community agencies regarding thenature of a student’s strengths and needs, their educational implications andways to enhance learning and interpersonal skills;
  • assist withpre-referral interventions;· provide psychoeducational assessments for students referred by the school-based team;
  • plancollaboratively with school-based and / or other District personnel to gatherclassroom based data, to design or implement instructional strategies, and todesign and implement behaviour management interventions;
  • may contribute tothe design and evaluation of IEP’s; and,· providein-service training in the area of assessment as required.

In addition to regular salary and benefits, the successful applicantwill receive the Administrative Assistant to Superintendent allowance, asoutlined in Schedule B of the Collective Agreement.

PLEASENOTE : WHEN APPLYING FOR THIS POSITION, TRANSCRIPTS FOR ALL RELEATEDCOURSEWORK WILL BE REQUIRED. Salary range : $59,432.

34 per to $108,341.34 per year, based on category as per SLP certification and previous teaching experience. Ifapplying for more than one position, please note order of preference.
