Project Manager - Digital Transformation in Manufacturing

We are looking for a dynamic Project Manager to lead our digital transformation projects in manufacturing and IIoT environments.

Role Overview :

As a Project Manager, you will oversee and drive the successful execution of digital transformation initiatives, focusing on SCADA / HMI & MES development using Inductive’s Ignition platform.

You will manage projects end-to-end, from development to deployment, while collaborating directly with customers to ensure alignment with their business goals.

You will also work directly with the project delivery teams, providing technical guidance and expertise as projects are being developed.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and manage digital transformation projects, integrating IoT platforms and developing enterprise IoT cloud solutions using SCADA & MES technologies.
• Oversee the deployment of IoT cloud-based solutions across various business functions, ensuring seamless IT-OT integration involving SCADA, PLC, and DCS systems.
• Collaborate with Solutions Analysts to prioritize and design project requirements, ensuring alignment with customer needs.
• Guide the development team in creating robust, maintainable code, and ensuring optimal software performance through regular testing and optimization.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring clear communication and effective project delivery.
• Travel to client sites to for preliminary engineering and to oversee the deployment and commissioning of projects.

Qualifications :

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven expertise with Inductive Automation's Ignition platform, including Vision and Perspective modules.
• Strong understanding of SCADA platforms, MQTT, HMI development, and related technologies.
• Experience with database management, particularly Microsoft SQL Server, Postgres, and MySQL.
• Technical experience implementing IoT related and MES projects.
• Excellent multitasking and attention to detail, with a strong ability to work independently.
• Ability to understand and balance both client and business perspectives in project execution.

Preferred Skills :

• Familiarity with Rockwell's FactoryTalk View, Wonderware, and other SCADA platforms.
• Experience in Python application development, SQL databases, and manufacturing visualization / reporting platforms.
• Knowledge of ISA-95 framework, OEE concepts, and digital lean manufacturing principles.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, GCP, or AWS.
