Cashier – West Saanich

As a cashier at Red Barn Market, you will be the face of our store, interacting with customers and ensuring smooth transactions at checkout. A friendly attitude, attention to detail, and great customer service are key to this role. If you enjoy a fast-paced environment and are available evenings and weekends, we’d love to meet you!

Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Greet customers, scan items, and process payments accurately and efficiently.
• Cash Handling: Count and manage cash, process credit card and Barn Bucks card transactions, and provide change.
• Product Knowledge: Familiarize yourself with our products to assist customers with inquiries.
• Bagging and Packaging: Bag groceries neatly.
• Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the checkout area clean and organized.
• Assist Other Departments: Help the grocery department and other departments with stocking or other tasks as needed.
