District Sales Manager, Prairies Surgical
Join a leading Canadian distributor of premier surgical products looking to hire an Alberta based District Sales Manager to manage and grow their surgical portfolio.
Reporting to the Sales Director and National Sales Manager you will manage the sales and business operations and lead a sales team in the Prairies region ensuring territory sales goals are attained and business growth objectives are achieved.
This is an exciting and challenging role for a player / coach sales leader with a focus on leading by example working with hospital customers in AB / SK / MB to demonstrate top performance and teamwork, while maintaining a strong commitment and adherence to a solid business strategy.
You will work in the field with Territory Managers and Sales Associates to augment the sales team efforts and ensure loyal and strong business connections and excellent customer relations at all levels.
Additionally, you will manage the tender process, negotiate pricing, and develop contract opportunities with the Health regions in the Prairies.
As part of the sales leadership team, you will provide ongoing feedback to senior management on market conditions and products while always ensuring ethical and professional conduct.
Qualified candidates possess 3-5 years sales team leadership experience in medical / surgical sales with solid customer relationships including experience working with various Health regions.
This is a sales driven company offering a lucrative performance-based compensation plan that rewards results including a salary of $80K plus uncapped commissions and bonuses with first year income totaling $180K at plan
