PositionSummary :
We are seeking a skilled andreliable Concrete Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidatewill have previous experience working on construction sites andpossess strong physical stamina and attention to detail.
As aConcrete Laborer you will play a critical role in the successfulcompletion of our projects ensuring that all concrete work is doneefficiently accurately andsafely.
KeyResponsibilities :
1. Prepareconstruction sites by clearing debris and othermaterials.
2. Set up form work and layout concrete according to blueprints andspecifications.
3. Pour and spreadconcrete using various tools and equipment such as trowels andrakes.
4. Smooth and finish surfacesof poured concrete using hand and powertools.
5. Align forms for roadways andcurbs and verify proper depths andgrading.
6. Monitor concrete curingand make adjustments as needed.
7.Operate equipment such as concrete saws and grinders to cut andpolish finished surfaces.
8. Assist inthe installation of reinforcements such as rebar wire mesh andposttension cables.
9. Remove andclean forms after concrete hasdried.
10. Adhere to safety protocolsand maintain a clean and organized work areaalways.
Requirements
High school diploma orequivalent.
Sound knowledge of concrete mixing pouring and finishingtechniques.
Ability to read andinterpret blueprints andspecifications.
Basic math skills andability to use measuring tools.
Physically fit and able to lift to 50lbs.
Ability to work in a team andtake direction from supervisors.
Willingness to work in varying weather and in a fastpacedenvironment.
Strong work ethic andcommitment tosafety.
- High school diploma or equivalent. - Minimum of 1 year ofexperience in a similar role. - Ability to lift and move heavyobjects, up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with operating basic hand andpower tools. - Basic knowledge of construction, production, ormanufacturing processes.
- Excellent communication and timemanagement skills. - Proven ability to work in a team andindependently. - Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime asneeded.
- Valid driver's license and reliabletransportation.
