We invest in training, development, and the right tools to help our people grow their skills and advance their careers, while supporting work-life balance along the way.At Golderado, your hard work is valued, your safety comes first, and challenging work leads to real opportunities and long-term rewards.Key Information:Hours: Based on a 44-hour work week; however, overtime is required during the busy season.Must be willing to working evenings and weekends when needed.Hourly rate is dependent on experience.Health benefits, pension plan, RRSP matching, vacation pay offered.Job Description:Must be able to operate a mini hoe to finish grade in tight congested areas.Must be able to operate a skid steer.Operate heavy equipment, clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks.Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment, secure special attachments to equipment.Operate two-way radios and other communication equipment, perform minor repairs to equipment.Execute high volume production.Fine grading and finishing.When required, assist other operators, labourers, and trades.Perform daily safety and maintenance checks for equipment.Experience and Certification Requirements:A minimum of 5 years of experience as a heavy equipment operator required.CSTS 2020, WHMIS 2015, Ground Disturbance Level 2 are required.You have the ability to quickly identify problem situations, evaluate alternative causes and produce workable solutions and work positively within a team to achieve a common goal.A reliable means of transportation is required.A driver's abstract is required and must be obtained no more than 30 days prior to employment start date.Proficient English language skills required.Education: Completion of high school or equivalent is required.Go ahead and be yourself.
