The role leads subcontract bid strategy support, commercial and scope reviews, subcontract drafting, prime contract flowdowns, and subcontract negotiations while ensuring alignment with operational requirements, client obligations, risk management standards, and internal governance. This role contributes to FLINT’s mission of delivering high-quality projects by driving consistency, commercial discipline, and excellence in subcontractor management.

  • Provide senior commercial guidance to cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring alignment on scope, pricing, contractual obligations, compliance requirements, and risk allocation.
  • Manage subcontractor relationships throughout the lifecycle, including prequalification, bidding, onboarding, mobilization, performance monitoring, and issue resolution.
  • Support post-award contract administration through commercial handovers, change management, claims support, documentation management, and governance reporting.
  • Drive subcontracting excellence by mentoring team members, improving processes and controls, and ensuring audit-ready records and regulatory, contractual, and HSE compliance.

  • Health Care Spending Account
  • Paid vacation
  • Competitive compensation

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, subcontract management, or a related discipline. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to drive favorable commercial outcomes.
  • Extensive experience in supply chain, procurement, subcontract management, or contract management, including leadership of complex subcontract packages, contract administration, negotiations, and project close-out activities.
  • Strong commercial and contractual expertise, with the ability to assess and mitigate operational, financial, execution, and legal risks while applying sound business and subcontracting practices.
  • Advanced negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence outcomes, resolve commercial issues, and build effective relationships across internal and external teams.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented professional capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong documentation, compliance, and follow-through.
  • University degree in Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field, with proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, CLM platforms, and other relevant business applications.
