General Description
• The Project Manager Level 1 is responsible for the successful completion of low to medium risk business process change or similar projects safely, with quality, within budget and on time by leading project teams and applying project management principles.

Responsibilities
Experience and Role Accountabilities
· Bring a minimum of five years of project management experience, or an equivalent combination of experience and qualifications.

· Plan, direct, and report on business process change projects by monitoring project benefits, resources, and status.

· Create and maintain project documentation, including project plans, action logs, communication plans, status reports, and post-implementation reviews, to support successful delivery.

· Develop project plans and risk management plans by identifying, analyzing, and monitoring risks throughout the project lifecycle.

· Complete project management activities, including scoping, planning, managing, monitoring, and reporting on project tasks.

· Use intermediate Microsoft Office skills and project management tools to support business needs.

· Maintain meaningful relationships with stakeholders through regular reporting, clear communication, and strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.

Role Specialty Details
· Manage assigned projects from planning through implementation, evaluation, and closeout.

· Develop and manage schedules, activity plans, reporting mechanisms, key performance indicators, and contingency plans to support successful delivery.

· Develop and execute targeted recruitment strategies, communications materials, and supporting tactics to meet participant and program objectives.

· Coordinate with internal stakeholders, staff, customers, vendors, and partners to resolve issues, provide guidance, and keep projects aligned with objectives.

· Develop and implement project processes, policies, and procedures to support consistent execution.

· Complete supporting activities such as procurement, Privacy Impact Assessments, customer data requests, data analysis, troubleshooting, and resource coordination for evaluation.


Qualifications
Additional Education and Skills
· Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

· Well-developed business acumen and understanding of the energy industry.

· Experience with Distributed Energy Resources is a strong asset, including solar-related initiatives such as rooftop solar, customer self-generation, net metering, solar plus battery storage, and grid-connected distributed generation projects.

· Experience with new product development and the ability to learn and apply new technologies to business objectives are assets.

· Knowledge of internal processes, such as Privacy Impact Assessments, procurement and Passport, customer data requests, and CEM operations, is an asset.

· Excellent customer service, written communication, verbal communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to develop customer-focused solutions.

Must haves;

· Bring a minimum of five years of project management experience, or an equivalent combination of experience and qualifications.

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Environmental Studies, Engineering or a related discipline.

· Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.

· Advanced English communication skills for a professional environment, both written and spoken.

· Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

· Well-developed business acumen and understanding of the energy industry.

· Excellent customer service, written communication, verbal communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to develop customer-focused solutions.

Nice to haves:

· Project Management Professional (PMP®) designation preferred.
