Reporting to the Manager, Canada Exploration, the Exploration Geologist is part of SSR’s Au-Cu exploration programs and collaborates with other departments of the company. The exploration geologist plays an important role in terms of planning, follow-up, target generation, logging and sampling, mapping, interpretation of the models, compliance with SSR’s best practices (including highest HSEC standards), QA/QC, and reporting.
Work Schedule: This position has a varied schedule. During active drilling and field programs, a 14x14 rotation based out of our remote exploration camps. You will be required to fly in fly out of Saskatoon. During off seasons, a Monday to Friday schedule is in effect.
