Your Capabilities and Credentials:

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) is required, with registration or eligibility for registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with provincial Engineering Associations.
  • A minimum of 10-years of relevant electrical engineering and project management experience;
  • Experience in electrical power system design, including medium- and high-voltage power distribution, protection & controls, system grounding, SCADA and telecommunications, with in-depth knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code, provincial modifications, and relevant CSA standards;

  • Ability to implement innovative and sustainable engineering solutions and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced work environment;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; and
  • Have a valid Driver’s License and be willing to travel occasionally.

We encourage applications from candidates whose experience and skills align with the core requirements of the role, even if they do not meet every qualification listed.

Additional skills and experience that will make you stand out

  • Experience working in a consulting engineering environment specifically in the industrial, electric/telecommunication utility, and/or renewable energy fields;
