We are seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Operator to join our client’s dynamic team in Dartmouth, NS. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety regulations, and a strong work ethic. If you’re a fast learner with a positive, professional attitude and an eye for detail, we want to hear from you!
Job Title : Forklift Operator (Night Shift)
Location : Dartmouth, NS
Salary : $18.50 / hour
Shift : Night Shift (Sunday-Thursday, 11 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM)
Training Period : 2 weeks (Daytime, 6 : 30 AM - 3 : 00 PM)

Responsibilities
Safely operate a Sit Down Counterbalance Forklift
Receive and organize materials as required
Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times
Maintain equipment in safe working order
Keep the work environment clean and organized
Complete any other duties as assigned by the site supervisor
Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse or fast-paced distribution environment
Valid external forklift ticket is required (Sit Down Counterbalance)
Proven ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced setting
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines
Knowledge of safe lifting and handling techniques
Ability to meet physical requirements (lifting, moving products / supplies exceeding 50lbs, standing for long periods)
Must have Steel Toed Shoes
Positive, adaptable, and energetic attitude
Team player who can thrive in a dynamic work environment
Must be able to work the required night shift schedule
