For more than 50 years, Michener Allen Auctioneering has been a major supplier of auctioneering services across Western Canada. As of October 2023, the company was acquired by Euro Auctions, expanding its reach to four continents while maintaining its local identity.

The Job

Gate Controllers are responsible for ensuring all visitors and deliveries to the site are authorized and for directing the movement of stock on and around the site. The auction stock can include equipment ranging from diggers and dump trucks to cars and crushers. This is an active, outdoor role requiring the ability to identify all types of heavy equipment.

Responsibilities include :

• Directing staff, visitors, and deliveries to the yard.
• Ensuring unauthorized people / vehicles do not enter the yard.
• Recording customer details for all deliveries.
• Overseeing loading post-auction.
