Description de posteJourneyman Red Seal Heavy Duty Technician. 2-3 years relevant experience Safety focused Strong written and verbal communication skills Keep your work areas, benches, and toolboxes clean and organized Proven ability to work with customers, demonstrating exceptional customer service Mechanical aptitude with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience with on-highway truck / coach maintenance and repair are assets Coordinating with supervisors, administration, and workers, for the purpose of completing all work orders efficiently and effectively Work under limited supervision, leading, guiding and working with others, as required Fill out required paperwork. This would include forms such as work orders, hazard assessment sheets, daily time sheets, and repair lists Test, troubleshoot, diagnose, adjust, and replace parts and equipment / controls as required Perform scheduled and preventative maintenance of all equipment or assets CVIP license is preferred but not mandatory Class 3 Driver's license with Air Endorsement is preferred, but not mandatory Competitive health and dental benefits with no waiting period for eligibility (100% employer paid premiums), plus health spending account. The Role :
Heavy Equipment Technicians work Monday to Friday with occasional overtime opportunities. Your expertise will be key in ensuring first-time-right diagnostics and repair of, but not limited to :
- Allison transmissions
- Detroit and MTU Truck and Industrial engines
