We are looking for Cyber Security Analyst for an enterprise scale client in Greater Toronto Area, Canada for an opportunity to work in state of the art, cutting edge technology environment.

Requirements :

  • Proven work experience as a Cybersecurity Analyst or similar role 3 to 7 years with the Canadian Government and its subsidiary or related agencies
  • Awareness of ISO 27001, FedRAMP, Protected B (Canada TBS), NIST, CIS and related standards
  • Exposure to SANS, MITRE, OWASP, SAFECode and related frameworks
  • Experience in Information Security or related field including Cloud, SW, HW, Mobile, Web Security
  • Experience in Data Privacy & Security, Security Testing, Risk Assessment techniques
  • Experience with penetration testing and techniques, Red / Blue / Purple teams
  • Understanding of Security models, systems / processes, and tools / techniques like SIEM, SOAR, EDR and IDPS concepts
  • Background in Audits / Assessments
  • Engineering Degree in CSE / ECE / EEE or related areas or equivalent

Details :

  • Confer with clients to identify and document requirements, assess physical and technical security risks to data, software and hardware
  • Apply encryption protocols, and manage keys to ensure security of data is maintained while at rest and in transit
  • Monitor access and credentials for information and systems
  • Install, test and operate security software and tools such as anti-virus and automated threat detection / prevent systems to ensure security measures are in place and working as intended
  • Monitor for cyber attacks, intrusions and unusual, unauthorized or illegal activity
  • Plan and carry out security measures in response to cybersecurity events and incidents in accordance with an organization's incident response plan to protect information, data and systems
  • Document computer security and emergency measures policies, procedures, and tests.

  • Exposure to Global firms in BFSI / Ecommerce / Retail sectors
