Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Field Service Technician. The Field Service Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing mining and process automation equipment for Tusk Automation's clients both locally and beyond.
The technician will also be responsible for troubleshooting, installing and providing technical support for instrumentation and automaton systems.
The technician will provide assistance to the panel shop and other Tusk business units as required.
Expect regular travel with durations of 1 week being typical.
Qualifications
- Experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of flow, pressure, level and similar instruments
- Knowledge of PLC / DCS systems is a plus
- Experience installing instrumentation tubing, wiring and
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Experience in mining or process automation industry
- Red Seal electrician or instrumentation mechanic, or a technical diploma in instrumentation
Compensation
$42-$49 / hr dependent on experience
