00 to $40.00, depending on your experience. Please note this is a temporary position.
Responsibilities :
- Carefully reviewing drawings and specifications to understand project requirements.
- Conducting thorough operational and safety risk assessments for project tasks.
- Performing general maintenance and repair duties related to building exteriors and equipment.
- Installing various elements such as concrete formwork, fencing, and barricades.
Qualifications :
- Completion of Secondary School education.
- Minimum of 3 years of recent related experience or equivalent education and experience.
- Possession of a Certificate of Journeyman Carpenter Trades Qualification authorized by the Province of British Columbia.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
- Proficiency in reading and understanding blueprints, drawings, and installation specifications.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively with others.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Competence in using relevant machinery and equipment.
- Must have own tools and own transportation.
