Security Officer - Casual Kent and Agassiz Area
Looking to start your career in security services? We have a great opportunity for you! Commissionaires BC is looking for security guards to join our casual on call Reserves Division team, working in Kent and Agassiz Area.
SHIFT TIMES : Monday - Friday 7 : 00am to 3 : 00pm (0700 - 1500) Pay rate : $23.23 Some of your responsibilities include : Escort individuals to and from Uncontrolled Areas Prior to entering the Restricted Area and / or Sterile Area, verify all Temporary Passes against Lost & stolen list Notify the correct parties when entering the facility and when leaving Notify the senior escort of any safety and / or security incidents (regardless of severity) that occur on the site Ensure that Escort Ratios are adhered to (at all times) while escorting construction workers working at the site Ensure that Visual Contact is maintained while escorting construction workers using Temporary Passes Your Must Haves : Valid BC Security Licence Have resided in Canada for a minimum of 5 years for clearance purposes OFA 1 certificate Personal vehicle Nice to have : WHMIS Fall Protection Course You’re a good fit if : Demonstrated interest and experience in serving the public Positive and professional attitude, with strong communication skills Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to handle emergency situations in a calm and professional manner Fluent English written, verbal and reading skills What’s in it for you?
