Volunteer Role : Associate Producer

The Make Studios is a Canadian media studio dedicated to producing thoughtful, story‑driven content that highlights independent artists and creative communities. Our work includes original interview series, digital content, and cultural storytelling, featuring artists at different stages of their careers. Our flagship series, Pop Up Conversations , showcases in‑depth interviews with Canadian artists ranging from emerging talents to renowned musicians. We strive to create meaningful visibility for artists while providing brands and partners with authentic avenues to support creativity and culture. Role Description

We’re looking for an Associate Producer to support in‑person recordings of Pop Up Conversations and related projects. This role is ideal for a student or emerging creative interested in production, storytelling, or arts media. You’ll support filming days and light production logistics, working closely with the Creative Director.

Responsibilities

• Assist with camera setup and basic operation
• Support audio setup and monitoring
• Help manage production flow on filming days
• Assist with light behind‑the‑scenes capture when appropriate
• Support prep and wrap‑up on shoot days
