Senior Project Coordinator, Mechanical
CMS Group is currently looking to hire a driven and passionate Mechanical Project Coordinator to join our team. Working closely with several departments inclusive of Project Management, Estimation and Executive Leadership you will be responsible for the following duties inclusive but not limited to the following :
- Assist Operations Manager in project review inclusive of providing continuous updates and details on ongoing projects
- Assist in reviewing project drawings and estimates (inclusive of quotes) to note any discrepancies or points of concern with the intent to keep Project Management Operations aware of any noted items
- Printing of drawings and specifications as well as other project documents (RFI, shop drawing, CCN’s etc.)
- Assist in issuing, managing and revising PO’s to subs and suppliers under direction of Project Manager
- Continuous organizing, updating and maintenance of files within Project Management
- Work alongside Mechanical Project Managers to ensure project delivery and execution of key project milestones
- Continuous and effective communication and team building across internal teams and with external parties (consultants, clients etc.)
- Update change orders and other adjustments using Jonas softwareIn order to be considered for the opportunity you must possess the following skill set : Completion of degree certificate (Engineering, Project Management, Economics Commerce or related field)
- Minimum 2-3 years working experience within mechanical project coordination position - experience with commercial tenant projects considered a large assetExceptional organizational and communication skills the ability to work in a highly deadline driven environment with moderate supervisionProficiency is MS Office (Excel, Word etc.
Blue Beam experience would be preferredJonas construction software experience considered an asset *
