With a history dating back to the early 1900s, Gambles has grown and evolved into one of the largest produce wholesalers in all of Canada. We operate out of three locations across the country: two in Toronto and one in Calgary. We also have a satellite office in Philadelphia that manages our U.S. sales operations. Our goal is to be the supplier of choice for all our customers’ needs.

The Quality Control Inspector will report directly to the Operations Manager.
This position will be responsible for completing produce inspections, providing inspection details to the sales team and providing support our ripening team. Since produce is highly perishable, you will be working in a fast-paced environment. Your ability to verify the quality and condition of produce items to determine if products meet CFIA/USDA standards will help assure the quality and freshness of inbound and outbound shipments to retail and foodservice customers.
This role functions out of our Calgary Distribution Centre, located at 110 – 5675 58 Ave SE, Calgary, Alberta. This role requires flexibility to work early mornings and weekends.
