Human Resources Generalist 14 Month Contract

Are you a self-starter with a desire to achieve results in a fast paced environment? Well.ca is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate HR Generalist to join their team.

The ideal candidate will be a team player who is ready to take on any challenge. The HR Generalist performs a variety of HR duties under the general direction of the HR Director, such as recruitment / selection, employee relations, training and development, health & safety and other projects as assigned.

Responsibilities :

  • Full cycle recruitment for client group, including posting jobs, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, conducting references checks, and issuing offer letters
  • Management of WorkTango employee engagement platform
  • Maintain and update various documents, such as new hire packages and job descriptions
  • Conduct investigations and ensure appropriate resolutions
  • Process and conduct terminations and resignations
  • Management of benefit programs and act as a liaison between employees and insurance providers when needed
  • Process bi-weekly payroll with ADP Workforce now
  • Main point of contact for client group; manage employee relations, attendance management, assist with policy interpretation
  • Run weekly and monthly reports for management
  • Provide assistance and advice to employees regarding the interpretation and administration of HR policies and procedures
  • Participate and co-manage employee engagement committee
  • Maintain employee files on ADP and Iron Mountain
  • Active member of the Health & Safety programs and committee
  • Assist in the administration of the annual performance review process
  • Management of internal intranet
  • Manage Milestone program on a monthly basis
  • Manage online Guusto platform
  • Flexible hours as required to support different shifts
  • Participate in projects as required
  • Assist HR team with all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

  • Post-secondary education in business or Human Resources Management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • 2-3 years of related experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent interpersonal skills capable of working effectively with all levels of staff
  • This position is a hybrid role
