QA software Engineer

Our client, in the manufacturing industry, is looking for a QA software engineer with experience in 3D tech to join their team in Montreal on a permanent, full time basis.

Responsibilities :
- Develop detailed test plans and test cases for software products.
- Identify, document, and track software defects.
- Monitor quality metrics (e.g., defect densities, open defect counts).
- Monitor all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions.
- Ensure smooth software performance before product launches.
- Analyze results to improve overall product quality.
- Perform regression testing after bug fixes.
Work experience :
- JavaScript : Proficiency in writing and debugging JavaScript code.
- Python / Node.js / Java : Experience with at least one of these languages.
- Intermediate SQL Skills : Ability to write and execute SQL queries.
- JSON and XML : Familiarity with data interchange formats.
- 3D Technology Experience : Exposure to 3D technologies (specifics would be a plus).
