Our client is a renowned hospitality group specializing in operating hotels across prime locations. We are seeking a dynamic, hands-on and ambitious individual General Manager with a strong focus on guest satisfaction and rooms division background.

The hotel boasts of 50+ rooms, situated in the heart of Niagara Falls.

Reporting to the Corporate Director of the Hospitality Group, the General Manager will be responsible for the complete oversight of the economy level hotel.

This position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced hotelier to take their first General Manager’s role. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in rooms operations and experience in housekeeping operations and a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.

Responsibilities :

  • Oversee daily hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance departments.
  • Ensure efficient and smooth functioning of all rooms-related activities, including reservations, check-ins, check-outs, and housekeeping services.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, comfort, and safety throughout the property.
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring complete guest satisfaction.
  • Supervise and train rooms division staff to deliver exceptional service and uphold brand standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimize guest satisfaction and operational efficiency
  • Work in tandem with the Corporate Director and Revenue Manager with rate strategies and local promotions / packages.
  • Monitor and manage room inventory, rates, and revenue to maximize occupancy and profitability.
  • Implement and enforce hotel policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Budgeting, forecasting, and financial management.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or relevant field preferred.
  • Previous experience in hotel operations, with a strong emphasis on rooms division.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellence in guest service.
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
