Purpose
As a member of the Housing Services team, you will perform a variety of departmental functions including general custodial and maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities
Under the general direction of the Architectural and Design Manager, the successful candidate will possess good communication skills, organized, like to work outdoors, physically fit and able to operate lawnmowers weed eaters and other maintenance tools, as well as the ability to work well unsupervised with an eagerness to learn.
Knowledge and Skill
Currently enrolled in college or university
Eligible to work in Canada
Occupational Health and Safety
Ensure work is being completed in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
Working Conditions
Usual hours of work are Monday to Friday, 7 : 30am to 3 : 30pm.
Internal & External Working Relationships
Establishes and maintains working relations with Grey County Staff. Represents the County with the public.

Errors in judgment may jeopardize public and staff safety, lead to inconsistency across the County and may impair sensitive relationships with municipalities and the public.
