Pharmacist
Role Description
Upper Mount Guardian Pharmacy, located in Brampton, ON is currently seeking a part time on-site Pharmacist. Can become full-time in near future The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing drug information to patients and healthcare professionals, providing patient care and counselling services, and verifying the work of other pharmacy technicians and assistants.
Qualifications
- Licensed as a Pharmacist by the Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP)
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution
- Community Pharmacy experience preferred
- Professional services- vaccinations, Medscheck, Minor Ailments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, physicians / healthcare professionals, and team members
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in dispensing medications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
- Aptitude in patient counseling, including medication therapy and disease state management, to provide optimal patient care
- Familiarity with Kroll Pharmacy System
