THE JOB Join our team as an Electrician where you'll be responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of intricate electrical and electronic equipment and distribution systems, involving both electrical and mechanical tasks of a diverse nature.
Key responsibilities include planning, laying out, and executing the installation and repair of complex wiring and distribution systems in adherence to relevant codes, as well as maintaining and servicing various electrical and electronic components.
You'll diagnose and rectify electrical issues, work on secondary voltage equipment, and occasionally perform tasks in other trades.
Proficiency in using CMMS for data entry and retrieval, alongside a comprehensive understanding of electrical tools and testing equipment, is crucial.
Working from intricate wiring diagrams and code books, you'll conduct load calculations, independently tackle tasks, and possess the expertise to repair all electrical and electronic equipment.

REQUIREMENTS The ideal candidate for this position must hold a Red Seal Industrial Electrician license and demonstrate above-average attention to detail in their work.
Proficiency in operating shop equipment is essential, along with the ability to work on ladders, staging, and high lifts.
A comprehensive understanding of applied electrical practices, techniques, and the theory and operation of electrical and electronic equipment and controls is required.
Additionally, candidates must be capable of manually lifting 50 lb objects intermittently, with heavier objects being handled using alternative methods.
