We are currently seeking an individual for the role of Animal Care Specialist within the the Saint-Hyacinthe facility. The successful candidate must have a good knowledge of livestock care and be physically capable of handling large heifers.
hay, silage and manure handling are part of the regular job duties.
This position requires working rotating weekends and statutory holidays as scheduled.
Responsibilities include :
- Feeding and caring for heifers
- Operating farm equipment
- Mechanical and manual barn cleaning
Qualifications include, but are not limited to :
- High School Diploma
- Valid Driver's ID
- Strong agricultural experience, including livestock handling & care
- Ability and experience operating farm equipment; solid mechanical aptitude
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
