Bakery Clerk - Innisfail - Central Alberta Co-op

Our Innisfail Food Store is looking for a part-time Bakery Clerk to join our team.

Part-time : 24-36 hours / week. Benefit eligible after 3 months. If you are coming from out of province, please remember you need to have AB Health coverage to be covered by our plan provider.

Availability requirements : Weekdays and weekends - mornings, afternoons and evenings.

Responsibilities :

• Provide excellent customer service,
• Package and label products for purchase,
• Slicing bread,
• Frying donuts, using ovens, and assisting bakers with production,
• Stocking shelves, freezer product pulls,
• Setting up product for following day,
• Ensure a clean and sanitary work environment,
• Other duties as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications :

• Excellent communication skills,
• Excellent organizational skills,
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment,
• Ability to work independently and in a team,
• Some heavy lifting is required (up to 50 ,
• Prior bakery knowledge is an asset; training available,
• Must be over the age of 14 (Employment Standards requires a permit to employ a person age 14 or under; therefore, disclosure is required).
