We are looking for a OB Nurse(Travel position) in Stanton, Northwest Territories. Main objective of this position is to provide patient care with the use of a competent nursing process in the hospital in NWT.
Manage the healthcare and nursing team in a safe practice and competence.

Qualifications :
- Nursing Diploma from an accredited college.
- Registration with the CNO.
- Proof of BCLS.
- Commitment to maintaining practice standards outlined by the CNO.
- Provide Nursing assessment, contribute to care plan development, goal-oriented treatment interventions, patient and family education, and support to address medical, cognitive, emotional, and self-care needs.
- Proven ability to assume leadership / charge nurse role. Motivation to demonstrate patient assessment, patient education, and related clinical specialties.
- Excellent assessment skills and knowledge of care plans.
- Effective problem-solving skills, prioritization, time management, and mentoring skills.
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
- Promote a family-centered care environment.
- Demonstrate ability to perform appropriately in emergency situations.
- Ability to lift, turn, and transfer patients manually with the assistance of mechanical aids.
Must haves :
- TB test (within 6 months to 1 year)
- Vulnerable Sector Screening (Within a year)
- Valid CPR / ACLS / BLS certificate

Pay : $75.00-$80.00 per hour
