Position Summary
- Direct reporting to Plant Manager.
- Core member of location’s lead team.
- Provide leadership and strategic direction to Production Departments and Shift Supervisors in execution of the Production and Shipping Plan / Schedule.
- Provide leadership and coordinate strategic business initiatives required to drive process improvement throughout the manufacturing and shipping processes, in pursuit of operational excellence.
- Apply knowledge and skills in Environmental Health and Safety to drive disciplined systems in support of an injury free work culture.
- Apply knowledge in quality systems and lean manufacturing to drive robust processes, and focused standardization of best practices for continuous improvement.
- Manage a cohesive set of key performance metrics for Safety, Quality, Operational Productivity and Customer Service.
