- Total Accounting and Finance team acrossall of Canada is circa 90 people
- Willing andable to travel across Ontario to meet with teams and Ops leaders atthe different sites learning the business and forgingrelationships.
- Owen Sound and amp; Hanover Musttravel to these locations at least once permonth

Construction Division. Reporting directly to the Director ofFinance this role offers a unique opportunity to shape thefinancial landscape of the organization and drive strategicdecisionmaking at the highest levels.

You willreport to the Director of Finance and are responsible for providingaccurate and timely financial information to senior management andother stakeholders.
Youll analyze financial results and ensure thatinformation is reported according to ASPE. Additionally youllprovide financial support to the Senior Management Team andDivisionaloperations.
Responsibilities :
- Youllbe responsible for directing and reviewing monthly financialstatements preparing consolidated reports and quarterly reports forthe Board of Directors.
- Youll also preparereview and analyze monthly financial statements according toCanadian accounting standards. Youll provide accurate financialinformation and variance analysis to senior management andstakeholders.
- Youll oversee the maintenance ofledger accounts to ensure financial information integrity. Youllsupport the business unit by advising on accounting and financematters and provide support to crossfunctionalteams.
- Youll coordinate annual budgets planningforecasting and prepare working paper files for audits and taxreturns. Youll develop your team through coaching mentoring andsetting objectives.
- Lastly youll provideleadership and guidance to Finance staff and ensure effectivecontrols within the ERP system aremaintained.
IdealSkills :
- Bachelors andCPA Designated MUST HAVE
- Up to 10 years ofaccounting and supervisory experience
- Highlyskilled in organizing and prioritizing tasks efficiently with afocus on accuracy and attention todetail.
- Excel in problemsolving and financialanalysis with the ability to communicate complex informationclearly.
- Knowledge of accounting principles andmanagement skills allows you to supervise otherseffectively.
- Proficient in computer softwareand highly organized in workflow.
- Takesinitiative and can work independently while also being adaptableand proactive in meeting needs.
