Our client is a quickly growingconsulting engineering firm with 5 locations across Ontarioservicing the land development industry with broad applications innew and redeveloped commercial industrial residential andrecreational properties.

Weare hiring a Receptionist to join their Guelph location. Thisposition is a temporary contract (approx 6 months) with potentialfor permanenthire.

Salary : $23.00 $25.00 perhour

Hoursof Work :

Monday toFriday 8 : 30am to 5 : 00pm (1 / 2 hour lunchbreak)

Responsibilities

  • Regularreception duties including greeting guests and managing multilinephone system.
  • Handling queries byphone email and generalcorrespondence.
  • Preparing andsetting up meetings rooms.
  • Receivingand organizing mail and allshipments.
  • Taking accurate messagesensuring that they are passed to the appropriate team member intime.
  • Handling printing photocopyingand faxing as necessary.
  • Assistingwith the management of inventory such asstationary.
  • Maintaining safety andhygiene standards of the receptionarea.
  • Other administrative relatedtasks asassigned.

Requirements

  • Minimumof 13 years working in a Receptionist or Administrative typerole.
  • Mustbe willing to commit to the minimum duration of the contract(approx 6 months).
  • Topcommunication skills with friendly energy isessential.
  • Ability to handle officeequipment (i.e. telephone system printerscomputer).
  • Proactive with stronginitiative is key. Seeing what needs to be done and just doingit.
  • High level of attention todetail is needed.
  • Above averagecomputer and data entryskills.
  • Professionalism and respectof confidentiality.
  • Reliability anddependability is amust.
