Aureus has the largest fleet of Hot Oilers in the Grande Prairie Region and we are currently hiring people with a Class 3 or higher with relevant pumping experience to train on Hot Oilers.
Home every / most nights (Grande Prairie) and competitive pay with a monthly guarantee and competitive hourly wage. Aureus also has a large shop with company Mechanics and a leading maintenance program on the equipment.
Your job duties & responsibilities may include (but are not limited to) :
- Safety focus (Safe Work Practices, Safe Operating Procedures) is your top priority; core safety skills training will be provided
- Monitor conditions and maintenance of all equipment with a focus on safety and environment
- Safe operation of high pressure well servicing equipment and Class 3 vehicles : Our Hot Oiler / Pressure trucks are capable of heating all types of fluids (Water, Frac Oil, Glycol, Water and Methanol mix etc.)
- Basic operations are the heating of fluid through the use of heat exchangers and pumps.
Experience & Training
- Must possess a clean driver’s Abstract
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Valid safety tickets required
- Previous heating / oil field experience would be an asset, but not a requirement
- Previous experience as a Pump Operator, Well Tester, or Service Rig Hand is considered an asset
- Must have a Mechanical Aptitude
Physical Requirements
- Must be physically fit and able to pass our pre-employment screening
- Physical requirements include bending, safely lifting up to 20 kgs, working in a noisy and sometimes dusty environment
- Willing to work outdoors and in inclement weather
Skills & Expectations
- Travel to remote regions on winter roads with potential to work alone
- Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
- Willing to work nights, weekends, holidays
- Willing to comply with all safety policies and procedures
- Willing to comply with Aureus’ drug & alcohol-free and harassment-free work environment
- Willing to work in a diverse and team-oriented environment
