Service Account Manager - Western Canada

The Service and Support Division provides solutions to drive increased productivity, efficiency and throughout for our customers analytical and life science businesses.
This team is experiencing rapid growth and is seeking to add a Service Account Manager to our Canada (British Columbia / Alberta) team.
The successful candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to our customers and a key strategic contributor to the aftermarket service sales team.
In this vital sales role, you will utilize your sales expertise and technical knowledge of the pharmaceutical, biopharma, environmental and chemical markets to sell high-value services and support solutions.
You will partner with an inside sales team and customer service and delivery resources to develop new business solutions utilizing both standard and custom service offerings for Agilent clients in the western part of Canada.
As an integral member of the North America Support Sales team, you will use your excellent sales track record to proactively develop and implement a successful new business sales strategy that maximizes sales volume, establish relationships at multiple levels within customers across the region and gain market share against the competition.
Responsibilities include :
Key Account Management to develop and execute a strategic growth plan within a named account remit
Identifying new business opportunities within the Canada Region
Drive a strategic selling focus, lead deal planning and boost account penetration for all support solutions in the account, competitively drive Agilent's presence and influence sales
Executive calling skills, network with executives within accounts to foster and facilitate business growth opportunities
Collaborate closely with other field sales, service delivery, and other business organizations to develop and implement account plans for strategic accounts within the region.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s, Masters, or other University degree or equivalent. Degree in science and / or business field highly preferred;
may consider applicants with a corresponding combination of education, training, and relevant experience
4+ years of direct sales experience with a demonstrated track record of success in solutions sales major accounts
Ability to translate the value proposition of service as a financial and operational benefit to meet customer needs
Strong business development, sales negotiating, and sales closing skills
Must have excellent communication (written and verbal) and teamwork skills
Outstanding presentation, planning, and organizational skills
General knowledge of instrument support services business
Demonstrated successful project management experience
Leadership and team player within a cross-functional global matrix environment
Strong understanding of analytical instrumentation preferred
The Canada pay range for this full-time position is 138, 230, / yr CAD, plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum new hire pay for the position across the relevant Canada locations.
