Bridge Engineer

Overview

Our client, a Canadian, employee-owned consulting company, is seeking a Bridge Engineer out of their Calgary or Edmonton offices. This is a permanent, full-time, hybrid position, paying 80-120k, plus a competitive benefits and vacation package.

Responsibilities

• Leading the structural team in analysis, design, evaluation and preparation of calculations and drawings.
• Preparing technical reports following technical analysis, modelling, and design calculations.
• Preparing proposals, bid and contract documentation.
• Monitoring, controlling and reporting project status internally and externally.
• Aiding in financial arrangements for projects including fee forecasting, preparation, and allocation.
• Providing guidance, including mentoring, and instruction, to junior staff.
