Under the responsibility of the Quality Control Manager, the position holder assists the latter in his functions.

Main tasks and responsibilities :

• Carries out and interprets tests for the following departments : Quality Control, Production and Technical Services, according to the needs;
• Does the quality verification and evaluation of the products (raw materials / finished goods);
• Prepares the certificates of analysis;
• Prepares statistics data;
• Communicates various data to the concerned departments;
• Applies the procedure for the quarantined products;
• Applies good laboratory practices;
• Maintains his / her work area;
• Carries out special projects when needed;
• Gives a daily report of activities to the QC Manager;
• Participates in the application of the ISO standards;
• Any other related tasks.
• College Degree in Chemistry and one (1) year of experience in a similar environment
• Good coordination and dexterity
• Can do chemical analysis interpretation
• Preparation and production of tests
• Knowledge of Excel, Access, D365 an asset
• Analytical capacity
