Senior Mobile Engineer

LodgeLink is inviting Senior Mobile Engineer in Calgary to join our Mobile team to be part of the creation of the future of workforce travel. We are looking for talented individuals with a passion for coding, who enjoy learning about the latest technologies, strong problem‑solving skills, and a user‑focused approach.

As a team member, you will join an agile, audacious, inventive, collaborative, and dependable team with a bold and opinionated vision of how we use technology to solve business problems. You will be continuously learning and building your skillset. We emphasize developing our team members to build them into well‑rounded professionals.

You will be part of a cross‑functional team that is responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. As a full‑time member of our growing team, you will have the opportunity to extend our iOS and Android mobile app offerings using Swift and Kotlin in a lean and modern product development environment.

The Mobile Squad builds and supports both the iOS and Android apps. We excel at understanding LodgeLink’s unique business problems and translating stakeholder requirements into a top‑class experience for our customers on our way to be THE ecosystem for workforce travel.

This role is in Calgary, AB, and is in‑office with 20% flexibility to work from home.

Responsibilities

• Develop Android and iOS apps in a cloud environment backed by gRPC, GraphQL and REST APIs.
• Take ownership of new features and leverage the team in creating, building, and integrating quality, test‑driven code.
• Collaborate with the other Engineers, Architects, Product Managers, and your peers in finding the best solutions to our most challenging business and technical problems, using today’s and future technologies.
