Job Summary
The Work-From-Home Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating, scheduling, and monitoring field personnel or drivers to ensure timely and efficient service delivery. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
Dispatch drivers, technicians, or field staff according to schedules and priorities
Monitor routes, job progress, and service completion using dispatch software
Communicate with drivers and clients via phone, email, or messaging systems
Respond promptly to schedule changes, delays, or emergencies
Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities and service logs
Verify job completion and update system statuses in real time
Provide excellent customer service and resolve issues professionally
Coordinate with management to improve routing and efficiency
Qualifications & Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous dispatch, logistics, or customer service experience preferred
Ability to work independently in a remote (WFH) environment
Reliable internet connection and quiet home workspace
Strong multitasking and time-management skills
