Project Manager

Responsibilities :
- Develop / Manage project plans budget schedule risk etc.with input from Project Team Members Business Owner(s) ProjectSponsor(s) and other stakeholders.
- Identifyand closely manage projects critical path and projectdependencies.
- Oversee project team throughimplementation processes and collaborate with vendor partnersInformation Technology Management team members Planning BuildingEngineering and any other applicable department leads and otherproject teams or members where applicable.
- Oversee current state analysis gaps requirementsgathering and documentation.
- Facilitateproject communications.
- Maintain and updateproject status reports including financial reporting.
- Development and ongoing management of project plan changemanagement plan test plan training plan and evaluationplan
- Identify and manage organizational changerequirements for the project ensuring the organization is beingreadied to accept the change.
- Manage projectscope change processes and acquire approvals as required.
- Manage Project Team performance of projecttasks.
- Control track and report on theexecution of the project plan and daytoday aspects of the project
- Control track and report on projectfinancials (budgeted planned and spent)
- Control track and report on current and forecast resourceusage.
- Control track and report on issues andrisks identified for the project.
- Secureacceptance and approval of deliverables from the Project Sponsor(s)
- Schedule and chair Project Team meetings
- Documents all findings and recommendations.
- Transition project deliverables to thetechnology and business operations teams (ProjectTransition)
Requirements :
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field such as projectmanagement public administration urban planning engineering or arelated discipline
- Proven track record ofsuccessfully managing municipal projects or similar initiativeswith a minimum of 5 years of directly relevant municipalexperience.
- Strong leadership skills and theability to effectively manage project teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with theability to engage with stakeholders at various levels
