The Opportunity
Responsible for overseeing production of a designated area, while assisting in the daily planning. This role will require 20% daily capacity of leadership functions.
The Role
- The primary point of contact for the assigned area, liaise and provide guidance with Production team.
- Identify capacity requirements and effectively resource plan.
- Ensure that daily team meetings are being performed with feedback to management on safety, production, quality and maintenance issues.
- Review requisitions and forward to Purchasing.
- Support training of new employees.
- Daily review of time sheets to ensure proper coding and job allocation.
- Support implementation of Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
- Accountable for budget performance.
- Actively participate in kick off meetings.
The Candidate
- Education : High School diploma
- Work Experience : 5 years of production environment
- Knowledge : Excellent communication skills, preferably knowledge of Lean Manufacturing. Electro-mechanical experience.
Knowledge of Electric Motors.
