Mechanical Supervisor - Mobile Equipment

Job Description

Under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager, your main mandate for the production sector under your responsibility will be to plan mechanical maintenance work and carry out the preventive / predictive maintenance program. As such, you will

• Receive and analyze the relevance and scope of all work requests, i.e. duration of work, labor, subcontractors and materials required, cost estimates, etc;
• Plan and schedule preventive maintenance and daily maintenance work for your production line to minimize downtime;
• Plan and organize major shutdowns and ensure proper allocation of human and material resources to minimize downtime;
• Work with the operations department to establish maintenance priorities;
• Plan work so that it is carried out safely and in compliance with company OHS procedures and regulations;
• Ensure effective coordination of maintenance work to meet operational reliability requirements;
• Create preventive and predictive task instructions on all existing equipment, as well as for new equipment introduced into the plant.
• Manage and optimize equipment spare parts lists in the "Maximo" CMMS system;
• Create all spare parts for new equipment in the "Maximo" CMMS system;
• Carry out occasional reliability projects on our production equipment;
• Perform all other related maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• DEC in industrial maintenance, mechanical engineering, industrial electronics, DEP in industrial construction and maintenance mechanics, DEP in automated systems electromechanics or other;
• Minimum 3 years' relevant experience in the manufacturing sector;
• Good knowledge of a CMMS system, more specifically MAXIMO;
• Experience in team management (an asset);
• Good command of spoken and written French and English.
