As a Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP), your role is pivotal in aligning business strategies with HR objectives, to drive organizational value.

You will serve as a strategic and experienced HR professional and demonstrate expertise in recruitment, employee engagement & relations, health and safety and the enhancement of training programs.

Your ability to exercise sound judgment, drawing from your deep HR knowledge and practical experience, will be essential in navigating challenges adeptly.

What you will do :

  • Partner with management to develop and execute HR strategies and initiatives that support business objectives
  • Compile HR metrics and conduct data analysis to provide valuable insights and recommendations
  • Act as a trusted advisor to management and employees on HR-related issues, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution
  • Promote a positive work culture by developing and implementing employee engagement initiatives and programs
  • Oversee and monitor health and safety initiatives to create a safe and healthy work environment for all employees
  • Conduct regular risk assessments, implement safety protocols, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Ensure that HR policies and procedures are up-to-date and in compliance with relevant legislation
  • Provide guidance to management and employees on HR policies, procedures, and legal requirements
  • Develop and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and competencies
  • Identify training needs, design training modules, and facilitate training sessions as needed

Who we are looking for :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
  • 5 years experience as an HR Business Partner or similar role, with a strong understanding of all HR functions
  • CHRL designation, or the equivalent progressive HR experience with demonstrated knowledge in all areas of human resources
  • In-depth knowledge of employment legislation and regulations
  • Change management designation and certification in adult education are assets
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Proficiency in HRIS and other HR software tools (ADP Workforce Now is considered an asset)
  • Exceptional working knowledge of MS Office
  • Excellent business writing skills and effective verbal communication skills
